Users wanting to purchase an iPod shuffle at the Apple Store will be disapointed when they are greeted with the message: “Sold out for holiday. Expected availability mid-January”. So this pretty much confirms that at Macworld we will see a smaller, lighter iPod shuffles in new colors. This echoes back similarly to the launch of the iMac G5, when Apple expected users to stop purchasing the iMac G4. Perhaps we will also see a raise in the iPod shuffle capacity, 1GB-2GB perhaps?
