This time it’s ThinkSecret reporting on Apple’s plan (the plan everyones known about for months…) to launch a 4″ video iPod. We’ll spare you the now generic details, just browse over if your interested. The good news though is that it seems to have a 1st April launch date, oh wait, is that good? Also on a slightly related note, today marks a week since the iPod hoax from last week started, hooray!

For me Apple will just be Apple again when they introduce airport 800 and 8x or 16x dual layer DVD recorder on the Mac Book. Also the Mac mini will have to have a decent video board. Also the processors won’t can come welded.
Upon iPod, I own a simple ECS A928 desknote, I can buy a cable and link it to my 3-in-1 made in the 80’s which have fantastic speekers that still work great, not loosing to the current expensive sound systems.
An iPod casey for $99? What does the mad god is thinking of … he is God himself together with Devil Gaytes thinking he is devil in person? What a ridiculous world… the god and the devil of the sylicon world… Greek, I mean… Californian mythology!
I thought I would buy my first Apple this year, but I don’t know. If they don’t come with an improved Mac Book. This year will be like Apple didn’t exist to me.
Also the Mac mini is a waste of money. If you buy all that don’t come with it, the computer will end up more expensive and will continue being limited for expansion.
I hope that the Power Mac is not going to come up a Mac S…t!
… god Jobs thinks that people will swallow anything from his company because his …ick is made of gold and under his legs are two apples that everyone say Glory!!!! to.
I own denounced the Brazilian representative of Apple of Brazil to manipulate people from the Federal Income Department together with customs officers to manipulate the Apple distribution to be a monopoly. In Brazil the Mac Book Pro costs above 6,000 US Dollars. This has last for up to 10 years and the support to the users is almost nule. So they steal money and offer no support and manipulate the laws with some authorities to hold Macs imported by low end customers to enter. Most people use Macs from smuggling. Even paying about 33 or 78% import tax, it is worth it to import a Mac under the table. Thanks to Apple do Brasil (Apple of Brazil), the only distributor from Apple since ever.
===========
Dear Ladies and Gentlemen from Apple Computer Inc.,
I am a final end Apple client in Brazil. I come through this to express a serious complaint about Apple Computer Inc.’s representative Apple do Brasil (Apple of Brazil).
Different from the policies applied by other representatives/distributors in countries with less significant economy than Brazil, Apple do Brasil acts alone without any other authorized Apple Computer distributor thus they make use of ilegal pricing practices compared to other distributors in other nations.
For years their arrogant practices have damaged the market of Apple computers here. Their pricing policy is totally unlogical and discriminating, just to cite an example, the Mac Book Pro reaches up to US$: 6,000.00. We know that Brazil taxes import products highly, but companies like Apple do Brasil are benefitted from such privileges such as reduced prices from Apple Computer Inc., discounted shipping costs, and import tax as well. So why to make the products to cost almost 6 times more? Why doesn’t Apple Computer Inc., let a competitor else to really represent Apple brand and distribute your computers like it is done in the smaller-sized markets like Colombia where there are 5 authorized distributors? At least is what is shown on Apple’s website.
Also Apple do Brasil consumer service is terrible. If we need to upgrade, replace some part, or buy a keyboard in Brazilian Portuguese standard (ABNT2), they have the standard word to say “no”. Apple do Brasil should be called “No of Brazil” because to buy products from Apple is to fall into a trap that is never announced on Steve Jobs’ keynotes.
So the question is. Why do Apple like to treat us Brazilians like so. Why does Apple provide Polish, Sweden, French spoke people computers with keyboards and OS X in their native languages as us Brazilians, a country with up to 180 million inhabitants are treated like fifth class clients?
It is important to remind you that a Brazilian company copied the first Apple computers in inverse technology process. Do you want this to happen here again in protest against the affront is being caused against us? So, because Apple do Brasil is the only legal channel that brings your products to us, the company over-over prices the products to feel arrogant to be the only one and directs the sales to rich and millionaire people, we have to suffer from that ignorant discrimination? I think Apple Computer Inc., officers should come to Brazil to take a real look at the problem that lasts long, much long here, up to 10 years. Brazilian market is not inferior to Colombian’s, so I want to hear a response from you otherwise me and all the Mac users from Brazil will all united make this public worldwide.
Very sincerely,
…. (me)

I actually think they will release it. Apple releases like 5 iPods per year which causes the old iPods to become obsolete, and since Apple filed for touch screen technology patents, and it’s about time to release an iPod, I put two and two together…
