Apple today announced the dates for its 2006 Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC), which will be held in San Francisco. The annual conference, which usually takes place in June, will now take place from August 7th-11th 2006. Last year Apple showed of Mac OS 10.4 and announced the move to the Intel platform. This year we can expect a preview of the next Mac OS installment, 10.5 “Leopard”. The move back to August might also suggest that Apple may plan to launch updated PowerMacs (Mac Pro) at the event. Should be fun! Oh wait… not Apple’s defination of fun.
