Don’t like the “new” iMovie? Well Apple is letting you download iMovie HD 6 for free! The download weighs in at 154.6MB and requires iLife ‘08.

First up we have the new wired Keyboard. This retails for $49 and as you can guess by the name - is wired. It features a full key set and includes a new “media” buttons such as Play/Pause, Dashboard and Exposé. It also has 2 USB ports on it, goody.

Secondly there is the new wireless Keyboard. This retails for $79, $20 more than the wired version but contains less keys! It’s a basically a laptop keyboard for desktops (although of course you can use it for your laptop). It connects via Bluetooth and also has the new “media” buttons. Apple today updated their Mac mini range to sport new processors, specifically the 1.83GHz or 2.0GHz Intel Core 2 Duo’s which make these little Macs 39% faster than their previous incarnation. They are available now and come complete with iLife ‘08 starting at $599.

Apple today announced iWork ‘08. Featuring brand new versions of Keynote, Pages and a new spreadsheet application Numbers - completing Apple’s productivity suite. Numbers is described as “spreadsheets for the rest of us” making gorgeous looking spreadsheets quickly and can also import/export as Excel documents. Priced at $79 and £49 - it’s available now.
Apple also today announced iLife ‘08. Featuring brand new versions of standard iLife apps and brand-new .Mac Web Gallery which lets you create enhanced, Web 2.0 photo galleries compatible with any browser. You can “contribute from anywhere”, allowing you (or anyone) to add to web gallery from the internet or from the iPhone. It is shipping now for $79 or £49.

As expected, Apple today announced new iMacs with a new streamlined retro look. The new iMacs feature a new sleek aluminum and glass skin with brand new speedier innards. The iMacs start at $1199 and come in 20 and 24″ form factors and feature 2.4GHz Core 2 Extreme processor, up to 4GB of memory, ATI Radeon HD graphics card, up to 1TB of hard drive storage and 802.11n plus Bluetooth 2.0 built-in. Snazzy.

Apple announced today that they have sold over 3 billion songs through the iTunes store. Apple last hit 2 billion songs little over half a year ago in January 2007.
